Participation in the exhibition INTERSOLAR EUROPE 2015 in Munich

VIOSY SA, one of the pioneering lead acid battery manufacturers in Europe, took part in Intersolar Europe, the international exhibition for solar energy and photovoltaics hold in Munich, 10-12 June 2015.

VIOSY SA was founded in Greece in 1973 and launched the battery brand WINNER® which today serves a wide range of applications irrespective of size, from car batteries up to power management solutions for photovoltaic and wind farms any size.

During Intersolar Europe, the company had the chance to showcase a wide range of solution specifically designed for the renewable energy industry. Most popular of them were proved to be:

• the innovative controller WINNER® ORION, ensuring optimal management of the energy produced
from renewable sources in residential applications and
• the enhanced WINNER® HERCULES series featuring GEL technology for even more charge cycles

Participation in the exhibition GENERA 2015 in Madrid

VIOSY and WINNER batteries had a most successful second participation in the international exhibition GENERA, a leading event in the Energy industry, held from 24 to 27 February 2015 in Madrid.

The series of rechargeable deep discharge cells WINNER PROTEUS 2V AGM technology and WINNER MERCURY 2V GEL technology, made their debut appearance during the fair, gaining significant interest.

Participation in AUTOMECHANIKA 2014 exhibition in Frankfurt

VIOSY and WINNER batteries were present for the sixth consecutive event with their participation in the international exhibition Automechanika, the world's leading Trade Fair for the Automotive Industry Aftermarket, held from 16 to September 20, 2014 in Frankfurt.

During the exhibition took place the first European presentation of the significantly renewed series of closed-type calcium technology WINNER SPRINT, with enhanced performance and enriched typelist, covering all modern car needs.

WINNER PREMIUM, the top calcium hermetically sealed series, took also a big share of interest being the flagship of the Total Solutions System program. Finally, WINNER CYCLOP the closed spiral technology pure lead series made a strong impression.

WINNER PRESTIGE: The technology of the future ...

WINNER PRESTIGE is one of the newest additions to the Starting «Total Solutions System» program of WINNER batteries. It uses Absorbent Glass Mat technology (AGM), where the electrolyte is absorbed by glass mat separators, with regulatory safety valve.

It is a leading solution for vehicles equipped with START STOP technology for fuel saving and braking energy recovery. The excellent starting performance and long life meets the requirements of most modern high-tech and micro-hybrid vehicles.

The WINNER PRESTIGE is maintenance free throughout its life, has very low self-discharge and provides excellent starting power even when it is at a low state of charge.

New agreement of VIOSY SA with OTE

VIOSY proceeded to another agreement with the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), for the supply of standby battery banks.

The company undertook to supply 13 battery banks WINNER NEPTUNE 48V 800ΑΗ, consisting of 312 2V VRLA AGM cells, with total energy storage 499,00 kWhs.

WINNER NEPTUNE series is designed for stationary heavy duty applications. With AGM electrolyte and high pressure of plates group, giving excellent cycling and deep – discharge recovery performance. Special additive has been added into the lead paste of positive and negative plates, so that the utilization rate of active materials will become high and will improve the charge acceptability.

The batteries will be accompanied by all necessary accessories and metal support pedestals with special anti-seismic specifications and will support the UPS functions of OTE Telecom Centers in case of power outage.

The implementation time will be completed in 2015 with gradual deliveries according to the Organization’s schedule.

Important agreement of VIOSY SA with OTE

VIOSY proceeded to another large agreement with the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), for the supply of standby battery banks.

The company undertook to supply 476 battery banks WINNER ZEUS 48V 100-2000AH, consisting of 11.424 2V tubular type GEL cells (OPzV), with total energy storage 6.215,00 kWhs.

WINNER ZEUS offers stronger constant power discharge capability with better charge reception. The cells have strong ability to recover from deep discharging. They are maintenance-free, leak proof and usable in any position.

The batteries will be accompanied by all necessary accessories and metal support pedestals with special anti-seismic specifications and will support the UPS functions of OTE Telecom Centers in case of power outage.

The implementation time will be completed in 2015 with gradual deliveries according to the Organization’s schedule.

Participation in the exhibition INTERSOLAR 2014 in Munich

VIOSY and WINNER batteries were found in the center of RES market developments with their third participation in the international exhibition INTERSOLAR, the leading event for Renewable Energy Sources industry, held from 4 to 6 June 2014 in Munich, where once again stole the limelight with high quality and exceptional reliability products.

For the first time in the international market were presented the series of rechargeable deep discharge cells WINNER PROTEUS 2V AGM technology and WINNER MERCURY 2V GEL technology, as well as the new range of rechargeable deep discharge batteries WINNER ZEUS 12V, GEL technology. Significant was also the interest for the WINNER SOLAR battery series of FLA technology.

Participation in the exhibition GENERA 2014 in Madrid

VIOSY and WINNER batteries had a remarkable presence in their first participation in the international exhibition GENERA, the important Energy and Environment International Trade Fair, held from 6 to 8 May 2014 in Madrid.

For the first time in the international market was presented the new range of rechargeable deep discharge Gel technology batteries WINNER ZEUS 12V, which are the ideal choice for smart home energy efficiency applications.

Important cooperation of VIOSY SA with OTE

VIOSY proceeded to another large agreement in the Greek market, this time with the Hellenic Telecommunications Organization (OTE), for the supply of standby battery banks.

The company undertook to supply 406 battery banks WINNER AJAX 48V 150-2000ΑΗ, consisting of 9.744 2V tubular type flooded cells (OPzS), with total energy storage 10.144,00 kWhs.

WINNER AJAX includes a full range of stand by low maintenance batteries designed to satisfy the demands of long life installations with high reliability and requires medium and long duration discharge. They perform excellent for a wide range of temperatures from -20ο C up to +50ο C.

WINNER AJAX cells are manufactured with highest quality robust tubular positive plates, which ensure excellent characteristics, long life for stand by applications and the highest endurance under heaviest loading cycles.

The batteries will be accompanied by all necessary accessories and metal support pedestals with special anti-seismic specifications and will support the UPS functions of OTE Telecom Centers in case of power outage.
